Make a meaningful impact supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a collaborative school environment near Albany, NY! This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals dedicated to empowering children aged 3-5 through high-quality speech and language services.

Openings are available across three settings:School 1: Part-time, 3 days per week, providing up to 10 sessions daily (40 sessions per week).School 2: Part-time, 2-3 days per week. The caseload will start lower and gradually increase with enrollment, ultimately reaching up to 43 sessions per week.School 3: Two full-time positions, including one covering a maternity leave until late January, managing 40-42 sessions per week.

All locations follow a 10-month, traditional school calendar. The typical student day runs from 8:30 AM–2:00 PM. Enjoy consistent schedules that allow for work-life balance while making a difference in the formative years of students’ educational journeys.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active CCC-SLP credential
  • Experience working with early childhood populations (ages 3-5) preferred
  • Ability to adapt to changing caseloads as enrollment fluctuates
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • New graduates (CFYs) encouraged; virtual supervision can be arranged
  • Please note: SLPAs are not currently supported for this position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy in individual and/or group sessions
  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and monitor student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to whole-child development
