Enjoy a full-time, contract opportunity spanning the entire academic year, working across four buildings in both elementary and middle school settings. Based near Waukegan, IL, you’ll support a well-defined caseload of approximately 20 students, allowing for truly individualized care. Most locations have just a few students, providing the chance to build genuine connections and foster growth in a supportive educational environment.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Current Physical Therapy (PT) license and eligibility to practice in Illinois
  • Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
  • Strong organizational skills to balance multiple locations
  • Collaborative mindset for teaming with educators and families
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for traveling between sites as needed

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering therapeutic services to students across two elementary and two middle schools
  • Developing and implementing individual treatment plans
  • Completing required documentation and progress reports in a timely manner
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Providing guidance and education to staff and families on strategies for students
  • Traveling between buildings, often with small, manageable caseloads at each site
