In this role, you’ll be working a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM, focusing on supporting a caseload of five upper elementary students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), capped at six students, in an environment that fosters close relationships and individualized instruction.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Michigan Special Education certification
- ASD certification required
- Experience with upper elementary students preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to each student
- Develop and implement targeted instructional strategies and interventions
- Track and document student progress thoroughly
- Work closely with fellow staff members and related service providers
- Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
