HR Generalist LHH is seeking an HR Generalist to support a dynamic operational workforce and help drive organizational objectives. Reporting to senior HR leadership, this position serves as a key resource for employees and managers across a broad range of human resources functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compliance, employee development, leave administration, and workplace engagement initiatives. This position is direct hire and will pay between $65K and $80K annually. Responsibilities

- Provide guidance and support related to employee relations, workplace policies, corrective actions, and performance management matters.
- Partner with supervisors and employees to foster a positive and productive work environment while promoting employee engagement programs.
- Coordinate full-cycle recruiting efforts for both hourly and salaried team members, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding activities.
- Administer employee leave programs and serve as a liaison between employees, managers, and third-party leave providers.
- Collaborate with payroll, benefits, training, safety, and operational teams to ensure a seamless employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle.
- Prepare reports, metrics, and workforce data to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Participate in HR initiatives focused on process improvement, compliance, employee development, and organizational effectiveness.
- Assist with responses to unemployment claims, government inquiries, and other employment-related reporting requirements.
- Maintain personnel records and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
- Serve as a backup resource for payroll-related activities as needed.
- Support workplace safety initiatives and assist with employee incident documentation and follow-up when required.
- Monitor HR practices for compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist with employee recognition programs, company-sponsored events, and other culture-building activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of progressive human resources experience.
- Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.
- Experience working with HR information systems; Workday experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of employee relations, employment law, and labor relations practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and presentation software.
- Strong understanding of HR programs, policies, and best practices.
- Ability to interpret workplace policies, labor agreements, and employment regulations.
- Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact confidently with employees and leadership.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience utilizing HRIS platforms and workforce data for reporting and decision-making.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated adaptability and willingness to take on new responsibilities.
- Manufacturing, production, distribution, or other operational environment experience is preferred.
Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
