Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early learners as an Occupational Therapist, working with Pre-K and early childhood populations in a welcoming school environment near Brandywine, MD. This role primarily seeks an onsite therapist, though nearby communities such as Prince Frederick are also within the service area.

Assignments run from ASAP through July 30, 2027, with the likelihood of additional summer (ESY) responsibilities. Enjoy a consistent full-time schedule, working 37.5 hours per week while making a meaningful difference in students’ lives.

Desired Background & Skills:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in Maryland (or eligibility for MD licensure)
  • Prior experience in school-based OT, with a focus on early childhood and Pre-K preferred
  • Comfort working onsite within school settings, adapting interventions to meet diverse student needs
  • Familiarity with IEPs, documentation, and collaborating with educational teams
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group therapy sessions for Pre-K and early elementary students
  • Assess students’ functional abilities and develop targeted treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress in daily school activities
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to documentation and progress reporting
  • Offer expertise on adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and sensory strategies
