Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts DESE Special Education Certification is required
  • Previous experience teaching or supporting elementary-aged children, especially in a resource room or similar setting
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
  • Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs in both inclusive and resource environments
  • Organized, flexible, and compassionate, with a passion for helping each learner grow

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted instruction through both pull-out and push-in services for 3rd grade students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
  • Maintain accurate documentation and timely communication with families
