Key Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts DESE Special Education Certification is required
- Previous experience teaching or supporting elementary-aged children, especially in a resource room or similar setting
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs in both inclusive and resource environments
- Organized, flexible, and compassionate, with a passion for helping each learner grow
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted instruction through both pull-out and push-in services for 3rd grade students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely communication with families
