Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- School-based SLP experience, preferably with K-12 students
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for promoting student success and advocacy
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evaluation, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare required reports
- Consult with teachers, families, and other professionals to maximize supportive strategies in and out of the classroom
- Facilitate small group and individual therapy sessions
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
