Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
  • School-based SLP experience, preferably with K-12 students
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Passion for promoting student success and advocacy

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evaluation, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare required reports
  • Consult with teachers, families, and other professionals to maximize supportive strategies in and out of the classroom
  • Facilitate small group and individual therapy sessions
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
