Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid California SLP license required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Previous experience working within school settings preferred
  • Familiarity with elementary-level caseloads
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary school students, addressing a variety of communication disorders
  • Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services and student performance
  • Develop engaging and effective activities tailored to a range of learning needs and backgrounds
