Maintenance Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 1st shift opportunity in Beech Grove, IN. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment and material handling systems throughout the facility.

Responsibilities include repairing machinery, troubleshooting mechanical and pneumatic systems, rebuilding drive systems, performing basic fabrication and welding, installing equipment, and supporting maintenance activities as needed. The technician will also operate various hand tools, power tools, hoists, and lift trucks while maintaining a strong focus on safety.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Schedule: 1st Shift 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
overtime as needed - rotating on call for weekends and holidays

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and equipment
Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience
Basic welding, fabrication, and layout skills
Experience with V-belt and chain drive systems
Knowledge of 480V 3-phase motor circuits
Strong commitment to safety and reliability
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various industrial conditions

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Hydraulic and pneumatic system experience
Manufacturing, agricultural, or industrial maintenance experience
Experience operating forklifts, hoists, and power tools
Preventive maintenance experience
