Position Details:

• Location: South Holland, IL
• Schedule: Full-time
• Grade Levels: K–1st and 9th–10th
• Setting: Onsite
• Student Needs: Medically fragile and primarily nonverbal students
• Position Type: School-Based Contract

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction aligned with students' IEP goals
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Support students with diverse academic, behavioral, and medical needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff
• Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Qualifications:

• Active Special Education teaching license required
• Previous experience supporting students with significant needs preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
