Special Education Teacher in Clio, SC

We are searching for dedicated Special Education professionals to work with early childhood and K-3 learners in a setting that values collaboration and development. This full-time opportunity is available immediately and runs through late May 2027, providing a rewarding and stable assignment.

What you’ll need:

• Active South Carolina Teaching License
• BOTH Special Education and Early Childhood degree certification required for EC PCD Teacher (3-4 years old)
• SPED Multi-Categorical endorsement necessary for ID Mild/Moderate Self-contained K-3 position
• Experience or strong interest in early childhood or self-contained special education settings
• Commitment to working onsite and with a diverse student population
• Strong communication, adaptability, and classroom management skills

Your responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and foster a supportive, inclusive environment for children ages 3-4 (EC PCD) or K-3 (ID Mild/Moderate)
• Develop and implement educational plans aligned with students’ unique needs
• Collaborate with staff, families, and related service professionals for student success
• Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and monitor progress towards IEP goals
• Uphold professional standards and a positive, enriching classroom culture

This is a full-time contract role—approximately 37.5 hours per week—working onsite in a vibrant and engaging school community.
