What you bring:
- Active OT licensure and credentials in California
- Demonstrated experience working within school settings as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong familiarity with IEPs and the special education process
- Excellent communication skills with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to deliver engaging, individualized interventions tailored for learners’ needs
- Organization and time management expertise to balance caseloads and documentation
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person assessments and create individualized therapy plans based on student needs and IEP requirements
- Collaborate actively with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and implement therapeutic strategies in the classroom
- Monitor and document students’ progress toward IEP goals, maintaining accurate records and timely reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional insights and recommendations
- Educate and support school staff regarding occupational therapy techniques and accommodations
