You'll provide specialized PT services for a student with an active IEP, ensuring they receive the tailored support needed to thrive in their school experience.

Assignment Details:

  • Duration: August 26, 2026, through June 9, 2027
  • Schedule: 30-minute sessions, twice monthly (bi-weekly)

Your skills and expertise in school-based physical therapy will play a vital role in fostering physical development and improved participation in school activities for your assigned student.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington Professional Licensure for Physical Therapy
  • ESA (Educational Staff Associate) Certification for Physical Therapy
  • Experience in a school setting—especially with IEP implementation—is highly valued
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities
  • Commitment to student growth and collaboration with educational teams

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services in alignment with IEP goals
  • Document session outcomes, progress, and recommendations clearly and promptly
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to best support the student's development
  • Develop and adjust therapy strategies to meet evolving student needs
  • Maintain compliance with district and state special education guidelines
