Special Education Teacher - Marlborough, Massachusetts

Qualifications:

• Active and valid Massachusetts DESE Special Education Certification
• Experience working in elementary special education, preferably with third-grade students
• Strong knowledge of resource room pull-out and push-in instructional models
• Ability to develop and implement tailored education plans to meet diverse student needs
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to upholding inclusive and supportive learning environments

Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted instruction to students in the resource room and general education classroom
• Develop and modify individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with colleagues and families
• Deliver engaging lessons, accommodations, and interventions for third graders
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and school staff

This contract role is full-time (35 hours per week, Monday through Friday) and begins as soon as possible, continuing through just before Thanksgiving. The compensation for this position ranges from $40–$45 per hour, depending on experience and credentials.
