Dispatcher - Final Mile

Location: Tampa, FL 33634

Pay: $19–$23/hr (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Dispatcher with strong final-mile and TMS (Transportation Management Systems) experience. This role is responsible for routing, scheduling, driver communication, and managing 30–90 daily deliveries in a fast-paced 3PL environment.

• Build and optimize daily delivery routes

• Line up trucks and assign drivers based on capacity and coverage

• Monitor dispatch screens and track delivery progress

• Communicate with drivers throughout the day regarding routes, delays, and updates

• Create schedules and adjust routing as needed

• Heavy email and phone communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams

• Use TMS software for routing, dispatching, and delivery management

• Tag, update, and manage delivery statuses

• Ensure accuracy and efficiency across 30–90 deliveries per day

• Maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-moving environment

• Support final-mile operations using transportation best practices

• Final-mile dispatch experience required

• Experience with TMS / Transportation Management Systems

• Strong routing and scheduling skills

• Excellent communication skills (phone + email)

• Ability to multitask and manage high-volume delivery days

• Detail-oriented and reliable
