Job Description
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A pharmacy technician position is available to support a health center retail pharmacy during a maternity leave coverage expected to last 5 to 6 months. This role requires a dependable individual to ensure smooth pharmacy operations and meet the needs of the community.
Location: Parlier, CA (Candidate likely based in Fresno, CA with a daily commute of 20+ minutes; no mileage reimbursement)
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform typical retail/community pharmacy technician duties within a health center environment
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications using the Rx30 system
- Assist pharmacists and provide excellent customer service to patients
- Maintain pharmacy workflow and adherence to safety protocols
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of recent retail pharmacy technician experience required
- Strong reliability and punctuality essential; candidate must be 100% dependable with no call outs or late arrivals
- Spanish language skills are highly preferred but not required
- Familiarity with the Rx30 pharmacy system is necessary
