Caseload Information

• Elementary School Students
• Resource Room Model
• Full Range of Disabilities
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to provide individualized instruction and accommodations

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide specialized instruction aligned with student goals
• Modify curriculum and instructional materials as needed
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations

Qualifications

• Active Alabama Special Education Teacher License (K-5)
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
• Experience working with students with varying learning needs preferred
• Ability to support students with a wide range of disabilities
