Job Description
This role focuses on assembling seat components on a production line using basic hand and power tools in a modern, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility. You will work on a steady-paced line, contribute to high-quality seat production, and follow established processes while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.
Responsibilities- Assemble seat parts and components on the production line according to specifications and work instructions.
- Use basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks.
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistent quality and adherence to production standards.
- Inspect assembled components for proper fit, function, and quality, and report any defects or issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficient workflow.
- Stand for the duration of the shift while performing repetitive assembly tasks on the line.
- Work mandatory overtime weekly as required, typically totaling 50–60 hours per week.
- Adapt to shift changes, starting on first shift and transitioning to second shift as scheduled.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and timelines.
- Comply with all safety guidelines, including proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective gear.
- Demonstrated basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand how parts fit and function together.
- Experience or familiarity with manufacturing assembly environments.
- Ability to safely operate and handle basic hand tools and power tools.
- Capability to stand for the entire shift and perform repetitive tasks on a production line.
- Willingness and ability to work 50–60 hours per week, including mandatory overtime.
- Reliability in adhering to scheduled shifts and transitioning from first to second shift as required.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate assembly and quality standards are met.
- Mechanically inclined with an interest in working with tools and machinery.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly work is beneficial but not strictly required.
- Comfort working in a structured, process-driven environment with defined production goals.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Work EnvironmentWork takes place inside a brand-new, state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility that stays cool throughout the year. The role is performed on a production line, requiring standing for the full shift and working with basic hand and power tools. The initial schedule is first shift, Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a planned transition to second shift, 4:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. There is mandatory weekly overtime, with total hours typically ranging from 50 to 60 per week. The environment is clean, modern, and designed to support efficient manufacturing operations.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
