Required Qualifications:

• Active and valid Maine OT license
• Experience or interest in providing occupational therapy within an elementary school setting
• Familiarity with the unique needs of children in 1st to 5th grades
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with teachers, staff, and families
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students to support their educational goals and functional performance
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the educational team
• Maintain accurate documentation addressing students’ progress and needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable input for individualized educational plans
• Provide consultative support and resources for teachers and families to reinforce therapy goals within the classroom and at home

This full-time contract role offers the chance to make a measurable difference in a welcoming elementary environment. You’ll play a key role over 5 days a week, working 37.5 hours weekly, from your start date as soon as possible through June 9, 2027.
