Step into a fulfilling role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. This full-time contract opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week and the chance to work with a diverse student population, ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. Your expertise will help students develop vital communication skills, making a meaningful impact every day.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Active SLP certification, with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
  • Experience working in school settings, ideally across multiple grade levels (K-12)
  • Strong command of assessment and therapy practices for speech and language disorders
  • Bilingual ability in Spanish or Portuguese is highly preferred, given the district’s multilingual population
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and other professionals
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive environment for all students

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in a variety of grade levels, based on experience
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Provide direct therapy services targeting expressive/receptive language, articulation, fluency, and social communication
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and facilitate communication between families and school staff
