Speech Language Pathologist in Torrance, CA

Make an impact working with students as a Speech-Language Pathologist providing direct, in-person services on a part-time contract basis. This opportunity is close to Torrance, CA and focuses on helping students communicate and achieve their academic goals in a supportive school environment.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid CA SLP license (or eligibility)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Prior experience delivering speech and language therapy in schools
• Thorough understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and implementation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Passion for supporting diverse learners in educational settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, in-person SLP services to students in accordance with their IEPs
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to IEP goal development
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress reports
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
• Employ evidence-based practices and interventions tailored to each student’s needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff in-services, and ongoing professional development as required
