Step into an impactful role supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, working onsite in the dynamic Denver area. This is a full-time opportunity where you’ll deliver expert services within schools, assisting learners with speech and language needs and collaborating closely with dedicated educators and support teams.

Begin your assignment as soon as possible, continuing through late May 2027, and shape the communication skills of students across a likely mild to moderate caseload. Specific school assignments and age groups will be determined, ensuring a fit with your strengths and interests.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
  • Active Colorado Department of Education Certification
  • Valid Colorado SLP License (Speech-Language Pathologist/Speech Connectionist/Speech Therapist for ages birth through 21)
  • Eligibility to complete credentialing requirements, including a district background check
  • Previous experience in school-based SLP services preferred, but not required

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) for students
  • Collaborate with general and special education staff, parents, and other related service providers
  • Document progress and maintain thorough case records per district guidelines
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech services, adapting strategies to support students’ success
