School Nurse RN BSN - Full Time - Milwaukee, WI

Location: Milwaukee, WI

A school district in Milwaukee is seeking 10 Registered Nurses with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) to provide school-based nursing support. Nurses will be assigned to one school site and must be flexible to work at any school within the Milwaukee area based on district needs.

Position Details:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours/week

• Monday–Friday; most schools begin at 7:30 AM or 8:00 AM

• Assigned to one school site

• Openings across elementary, middle, high school, and K–12 settings

• Bilingual openings available

• Must be willing to accept an assignment anywhere within Milwaukee; specific school preferences cannot be guaranteed

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and support to students

• Manage the school health office

• Administer medications and treatments

• Respond to illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies

• Monitor students with chronic or complex medical needs

• Maintain accurate health records and documentation

• Collaborate with students, families, school staff, and healthcare providers

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)

• Active Wisconsin RN license

• School nursing or pediatric experience preferred
