Your primary focus will be working with elementary-aged children, developing individualized education plans, conducting thorough speech and language assessments, as well as providing both direct therapy and consultative services. You’ll engage with a dedicated team committed to cultivating positive outcomes for every student on your caseload.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania SLP License required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Expertise in designing and implementing student-centered speech and language interventions
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with families, educators, and related professionals
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-5 students
- Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Provide direct therapy, monitor progress, and document outcomes
- Consult and collaborate with teachers and support staff to foster language-rich environments
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain effective communication with families
