Make a meaningful impact supporting young learners as an Early Childhood Intervention Specialist in a dynamic, nurturing preschool setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for passionate educators dedicated to offering targeted instruction and ongoing support for children with special needs. With a manageable caseload of 10 students (maximum 20), you'll have the time and resources to develop personalized learning strategies and foster real growth in a caring environment.

This role is structured for approximately 20–25 hours per week between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, making it a fantastic option for educators seeking flexibility. A certified substitute is available onsite to provide direct hands-on support for students, enabling you to focus on planning, managing instruction, and overseeing all special education responsibilities. Experienced virtual providers are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure as an Early Childhood Intervention Specialist or Special Education Teacher (required)
  • Experience with pre-K or early childhood special education, including IEP development and implementation
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
  • Comfortable managing a caseload and collaborating with classroom staff and families
  • Open to both onsite and virtual providers

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction and support to preschool students with diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and substitute aides to deliver effective interventions
  • Develop and maintain IEP documentation, ensuring compliance and individualized progress
  • Maintain regular communication with families and related service providers
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive educational atmosphere
