This role is structured for approximately 20–25 hours per week between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, making it a fantastic option for educators seeking flexibility. A certified substitute is available onsite to provide direct hands-on support for students, enabling you to focus on planning, managing instruction, and overseeing all special education responsibilities. Experienced virtual providers are welcome and encouraged to apply.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as an Early Childhood Intervention Specialist or Special Education Teacher (required)
- Experience with pre-K or early childhood special education, including IEP development and implementation
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Comfortable managing a caseload and collaborating with classroom staff and families
- Open to both onsite and virtual providers
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support to preschool students with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and substitute aides to deliver effective interventions
- Develop and maintain IEP documentation, ensuring compliance and individualized progress
- Maintain regular communication with families and related service providers
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive educational atmosphere
