Step into a rewarding contract role supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working exclusively onsite throughout the academic year. You’ll serve a welcoming and collaborative district, addressing spot-fill needs across both itinerant settings and a high school self-contained classroom with moderate to severe needs. What you’ll need to succeed:
- Active Maryland SLP License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in Maryland schools strongly preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for supporting K-12 age ranges and varying levels of student need
What your role will look like:
- Manage a dynamic caseload of K-12 students, both in a self-contained high school setting and itinerant support across multiple sites
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services in accordance with IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and plan interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Contribute to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and positive learning environment
