Job Description
Step into a rewarding long-term opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Denver area. This onsite contract role begins as soon as possible and extends through late May 2027, offering you the chance to make a meaningful difference in school-based therapy. The caseload is anticipated to be mild to moderate, focusing on a school-aged population eager for your expertise and support.
Qualifications & Licensing:
- Master’s degree or higher from an accredited program in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Colorado Department of Education certification
- Colorado SLP license; accepted titles include Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist (all for ages birth through 21)
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong collaboration, documentation, and organization skills
- Successful completion of background check through the district’s credentialing process
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students within your assigned caseload
- Provide therapy and intervention strategies for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with district policies
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to individualized student plans
