Job Title: Aircraft AssemblerJob Description

We are seeking an Aircraft Assembler to perform assembly, teardown, overhaul, and repair of flight-critical aircraft components. The successful candidate will work with limited supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Perform fitting and assembly operations on aircraft components.
  • Teardown and reassemble overhaul and repair aircraft parts.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, operation sheets, technical specifications, and overhaul manuals.
  • Utilize adhesives, bonding processes, and furnace-controlled operations.
  • Focus on quality, safety, and identifying non-conformances.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Experience with mechanical assembly.
  • Ability to effectively use a tape measure.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve assembly-related issues.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Newington, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $58240.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
