Take on a fulfilling contract opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for the upcoming academic year. This onsite role offers the chance to support students K-12 in a well-supported and collaborative district, near Hurlock, MD. Work with a dynamic caseload, providing services where they are needed the most and making a measurable impact.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Maryland SLP license (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience in Maryland schools preferred
  • Strong ability to adapt to varying needs across multiple school sites
  • Skilled in supporting students from kindergarten through high school, including those in self-contained, moderate to severe classrooms

Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, including spot fill needs throughout multiple buildings
  • Addressing a range of needs: from high school students in self-contained, moderate to severe settings to itinerant supports across schools
  • Collaborating with educators, administrators, and related service providers for student success
  • Participating in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress monitoring
  • Maintaining thorough records and documentation, ensuring compliance with Maryland standards and best practices

Position Details:

  • Onsite only; virtual/remote work is not available for this position
  • Choice between full-time (37.5 hours/week) or part-time schedule
  • Academic year contract from late August 2026 through early June 2027
