Step into a rewarding school-based Speech-Language Pathologist position working with a diverse student population just outside Fremont, CA! The assignment begins ASAP to ensure students have immediate access to the services they need.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Hold a valid SLP license and ASHA CCC certification.
  • Previous experience providing services within a school environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of IEP process and delivering direct speech-language services.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize a caseload of approximately 40–50 students (exact numbers may vary).
  • Familiarity with or willingness to supervise SLPAs, if needed.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and rapport-building skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services as outlined in students’ IEPs.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to support holistic student development.
  • Maintain clear, thorough records and participate in IEP meetings as required.
  • Promote an inclusive, supportive learning environment that fosters student growth.
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to SLPAs (if assigned).
