Job Description
A specialty pharmacy is seeking an experienced pharmacist to fill a long-term care role on a contract basis. This position offers a schedule of Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with some weekend shifts required. The assignment is expected to last 13 weeks or longer.
Responsibilities include providing pharmacy services tailored to long-term care patients, ensuring accurate dispensing and medication management, and collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Ideal candidates will hold a valid Iowa pharmacy license or an Iowa temporary license. Immunization certification and CPR certification are preferred but not mandatory.
