This onsite, full-time contract position offers the opportunity to serve a diverse population, potentially working with students ages 3 to 21. The assignment runs from ASAP through June 1, 2027, providing consistency and the chance to build strong relationships within the school community.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Illinois SLP license required.
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) is required.
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred, but enthusiastic new grads are welcome.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work well with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families.
  • Willingness to work onsite, in-person only.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for students as assigned.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on student needs and school requirements.
  • Keep accurate documentation and monitor progress toward IEP goals.
  • Consult regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions as needed.
  • Adapt services across a range of ages, from early childhood to transition programs, depending on school assignment.
