Randstad is partnering with a premier industry leader to find a skilled CNC Maintenance Specialist who thrives on keeping high-precision machinery running at peak performance. You’ll be working on a dynamic floor housing vertical, horizontal, lathe, and specialized CNC equipment—balancing proactive maintenance, precision upgrades, and facility support.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience: 3 to 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience specifically tailored to CNC machinery or highly complex automated systems.
Technical Aptitude: Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Tools & Gear: Proficient with standard hand/power tools and specialized electrical/mechanical test diagnostics.
Certifications/Licenses: Ability or willingness to operate support equipment (forklifts, hoists, lifts).
Facilities Maintenance Knowledge: Bonus points if you have experience maintaining broader facility infrastructure.
Proactive Problem-Solver: A mindset focused on identifying potential mechanical failures before they impact production goals.

salary: $62,400 - $93,600 per year

Responsibilities
Precision Maintenance & Tuning: Execute thorough preventative and predictive maintenance protocols on complex CNC equipment.
Calibration & Alignment: Precise adjustment of linear/rotary axes, pallet changers, tables, and tooling offsets to maintain strict operational tolerances.
Component-Level Diagnostics: Troubleshoot, isolate, and repair complex mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical system failures.
Part Sourcing & CMMS Tracking: Research required replacement parts directly through vendors and maintain accurate, up-to-date work logs in the CMMS.
Workflow Management: Prioritize daily work orders, stage tools in advance, and minimize production delays.
Facility & Equipment Support: Safely operate material handling equipment (forklifts, hoists, scissor lifts) and support surrounding facility maintenance needs as required.
Safety & Collaboration: Maintain strict OSHA compliance and foster a safety-first, team-oriented shop floor culture.
