What you’ll need:

  • Valid New Jersey Psychologist credential or certification
  • Experience working with K-12 students preferred
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Adaptability and solid organizational skills
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in an educational setting

Your key responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to support student learning and well-being
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention as needed for students
  • Offer recommendations and support for behavioral and academic interventions
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure a holistic approach to student support
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with ethical and legal standards
