Job Description

This full-time contract position offers the unique opportunity to split your time between two welcoming sites, both serving 2nd through 5th-grade learners. You'll play a vital role as a case manager, leading Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and ensuring services are delivered efficiently to every student on your caseload.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teaching Certification
- Experience supporting elementary-aged students, preferably across diverse classroom settings
- Strong organizational and communication skills, particularly for managing IEPs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated ability to provide both inclusion/push-in support and targeted pullout instruction for reading and math
- Capacity to effectively manage a caseload of 25–35 students
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the primary case manager for students with IEPs, coordinating meetings, documentation, and family communication
- Provide a balanced blend of inclusion services and small group pullout support in reading and math
- Foster a positive, collaborative environment with general education staff and specialists
- Monitor student progress and adapt instruction to meet diverse needs
- Promote student independence and advocate for appropriate accommodations
