Step into an engaging contract opportunity as an Early Childhood Intervention Specialist, working with a close-knit preschool community near Duncan Falls, OH. In this role, you’ll provide specialized instruction and support to a caseload of ten preschool-aged students—with a maximum of twenty—empowering each child to reach their full potential.

You’ll work a consistent schedule of 20–25 hours per week between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, allowing for excellent work-life balance. The district offers the support of an onsite, non-certified substitute to assist with hands-on needs, so you can focus on managing special education responsibilities, implementing IEPs, and delivering targeted instruction. Licensed, experienced virtual providers are welcomed, providing added flexibility for your work environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Intervention Specialist certification or licensure for Early Childhood Special Education
  • Experience in preschool or early childhood settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of delivering both direct instruction and special education services
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals, staff, and families
  • Comfort with both in-person and virtual service provision

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of up to 20 preschool students requiring special education support
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver targeted, evidence-based instruction to meet diverse learning needs
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
  • Coordinate with staff including an onsite substitute to ensure seamless educational delivery
