Tire Store Laborer / Tire Technician Helper

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Tire Store Laborer Responsibilities

• Assist experienced tire technicians with mounting and dismounting commercial tires.
• Handle, move, and organize commercial tires, wheels, rims, and tire casings safely.
• Assist with tire installation, removal, and general tire shop operations.
• Load, unload, stage, and move tires and shop materials as needed.
• Support tire technicians with general shop labor and tire service duties.
• Assist with maintaining tire inventory and organizing the shop.
• Perform shop cleanup and general housekeeping duties.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company safety procedures and tire service practices.
• Perform additional labor and shop duties as assigned.

Tire Technician Helper Qualifications

• Previous labor, warehouse, automotive, tire shop, or commercial shop experience preferred but not required.
• Previous tire service or tire technician experience is a plus.
• Willingness to learn commercial tire installation and service.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist technicians.
• Steel-toe boots required.

Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on commercial tire shop labor position requiring:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and move heavy tires and materials throughout the shift.
• Frequent standing, bending, lifting, reaching, and walking.
• Ability to perform physical labor for an extended period.
• Comfort working around commercial trucks, tires, wheels, shop equipment, and automotive service operations.
• Ability to maintain safe work practices while handling heavy tires and equipment.
