Job Description
Make a genuine impact supporting students’ well-being in a dynamic educational setting. An opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to work onsite with a flexible, part-time contract near Oregon City, OR. This position involves alternating between two days some weeks and three days others, following a 7:30 am to 3:30 pm schedule. If you’re passionate about supporting children through direct services, collaboration, and assessment, this could be an ideal fit.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current School Psychologist license in Oregon (TSPC required)
- Experience working within K-12 school settings
- Strong understanding of evaluations, special education processes, and IEP development
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain detailed records
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough student evaluations and interpret data to inform educational planning
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations for student support
- Provide consultation to staff and families regarding student needs, intervention strategies, and progress
- Offer direct support and counseling to students as indicated
- Attend required staff or team meetings, as needed, to ensure alignment and communication
