Step into an impactful, contract-based role dedicated to supporting student success in a school-based environment near Lacrosse, WA. This assignment runs from August 26, 2026, through June 9, 2027. You'll play a key part in helping a student thrive by providing expert physical therapy as outlined in their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). The schedule is thoughtfully designed—30-minute sessions, twice a month—offering you both the chance to make a real difference and the flexibility to balance your professional commitments.
Qualifications:
- Active Washington Professional Licensure in Physical Therapy
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) Certification for Physical Therapy
- Experience collaborating with school staff and working under IEPs is highly desired
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, student-focused approach
- Previous school-based physical therapy experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted physical therapy interventions in alignment with the student’s IEP goals
- Document progress and adapt strategies to meet the evolving needs of the student
- Consult with teachers, staff, and family members as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Ensure all services comply with state and district regulations and best practices
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as required
