Occupational Therapist School Setting - Van Nuys, CA

Step into an engaging role as a school-based Occupational Therapist, working with students to enhance their fine motor, sensory, and functional abilities. Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active California OT license, or eligibility to obtain
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ needs related to fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored for each student
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress
• Deliver therapy sessions individually and in groups, fostering both academic and life skills
• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
