An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who thrives in an elementary school setting. This onsite contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students while developing lasting skills as part of a dedicated educational team. The assignment extends through May 2027, providing both stability and room for professional growth.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current SLP-CCC, Clinical Fellow (CF), or SLP-School credentials
  • Active Georgia SLP License or GA Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Certification (At least one required at start; both eventually needed)
  • Consideration given to Speech-Language Assistants holding GaPSC certification
  • Experience in elementary school environments is highly desirable
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver onsite speech and language therapy services to elementary students in a supportive, school-based environment
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique communication needs
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers and staff to optimize student outcomes
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student participation and growth
