Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Prior experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other professionals
  • Enthusiasm for supporting diverse learners across multiple grade levels

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and comprehensive speech-language assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on student needs
  • Maintain progress records, complete necessary documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Consult with educators, families, and staff to promote optimal communication outcomes
  • Support a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology
