Qualifications/Desired Background:
- Active SLPA license required
- Experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Ability to work effectively with lead Speech-Language Pathologists, educators, and families
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Adaptability in dynamic, student-centered environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language interventions under the supervision of licensed SLPs
- Support IEP implementation, documentation, and progress tracking for students with communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily routines
- Engage students in individual and small-group therapy sessions, fostering an encouraging learning environment
- Maintain accurate records, session notes, and data for ongoing assessment and planning
- Communicate student progress and needs to supervising SLP and school faculty as appropriate
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to overall program improvement
