Job Description
As an EMI (Electromagnetic) Test Engineering Technician II here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of testing activities and the delivery of high-quality products. You will work with a team of engineers and technicians to provide test support for product development.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location onsite.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans, ensuring that all necessary tests are conducted to validate product performance and reliability. You will provide technical expertise and guidance to the team in conducting tests and analyzing results, ensuring that all testing activities are carried out accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Be a part of a team of engineering technicians, providing technical guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Run electromagnetic interference testing using amplifiers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, according to DO-160 and MIL-STD-461, on aerospace products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve aerospace engineering processes and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain high quality and efficiency in engineering operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices within the team.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality test results aligned with project goals and aerospace industry standards.


Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Engineering Technician or a related role, preferably in aerospace
  • Strong technical skills in electrical systems and components relevant to aerospace applications
  • Experience with EMI test equipment such as amplifiers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, function generators, programmable power supplies, etc.

  • Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Strong fundamentals in Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Passion for innovation and continuous learning.
  • Familiarity with RF and electrical equipment, oscilloscopes, amplifiers, receivers, antennas, attenuators, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to speak, write and read English

COMPENSATION OVERVIEW

The hourly range for this position is $28.85 - $36.06. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
