Job Summary
A food and beverage production organization in the Los Angeles, CA area is seeking a Transportation Manager to oversee fleet operations, dispatch coordination, routing, scheduling, safety, and DOT compliance. This is a direct hire opportunity for a logistics professional who enjoys leading transportation teams, improving daily fleet performance, and ensuring products move efficiently through a fast-paced distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily transportation operations, including fleet utilization, dispatch activity, route planning, and delivery scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with DOT, fleet safety, driver standards, and company transportation policies.
- Monitor transportation performance, identify operational issues, and implement improvements to support efficiency and service levels.
- Partner with warehouse, production, customer service, and operations teams to coordinate timely movement of goods.
- Maintain accurate transportation records using ERP systems and support reporting related to fleet, compliance, routing, and scheduling.
- Lead, support, and coach transportation staff while promoting a safety-focused and accountable work environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $80,000 to $100,000 per year.
- Direct hire opportunity.
