Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a clinical pharmacist at a critical access hospital in Ranchos De Taos, NM. This role supports a small inpatient setting, caring for a maximum of 25 patients.
Schedule:
- Day shifts
- Three 12-hour shifts per week (06:30 - 19:00)
Responsibilities include:
- Order verification with accuracy and attention to detail
- Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
- Collaborating closely with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
- Providing pharmacokinetic consultations and monitoring drug therapies
Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico pharmacy license or ability to obtain a temporary license
- Minimum of two years inpatient hospital pharmacy experience, demonstrating strong clinical knowledge and independent judgment
- Experience with order verification and team supervision preferred
