Staff Pharmacist | Holts Summit, Missouri

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A temporary pharmacist opportunity is available in Holts Summit, MO, with a contract starting early September and continuing until a permanent hire is placed. This role offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend or on-call duties. The pharmacy observes all Missouri state holidays and will be closed accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pharmacist verification for technicians assigned to packaging, including reviewing bags flagged by InspectRx.
• Handle repackaging, correct bag errors, and refill canisters as needed.
• Conduct barcode scanning to verify medications after technician filling.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff for troubleshooting support when necessary.
• Complete approximately 3 days of training before beginning assignments.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must hold an active Missouri Board of Pharmacy license.
• Require at least one year of recent pharmacy experience.
• Previous behavioral health experience is not necessary due to limited order verification requirements.
