Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Multiple Openings

Location: Gallup, NM

Term: 2026/2027 School Year

Schedule: Full-Time | 37.5 Hours/Week | Monday – Friday

Caseload: Placements available across all grade levels (K–12)

We are hiring full-time Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for the 2026–2027 school year in Gallup, New Mexico. In this role, you will work directly with students experiencing challenging behaviors—delivering hands-on interventions, consulting with classroom staff, and fostering positive social-emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the direction of a BCBA.

  • Provide consultation, training, and behavioral support to classroom teachers and instructional aides.

  • Collect accurate behavioral data to monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies.

  • Use positive reinforcement and approved de-escalation techniques to support student safety and learning.

Qualifications

  • Credential: Active, inactive, or recently expired Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification issued by the BACB.

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required (college coursework in Psychology, Special Education, or related fields preferred).

  • Experience: Experience working with children or adolescents with severe behavioral needs, autism, or developmental disabilities.
