Occupational Therapist School Setting in Fuquay Varina, NC

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity in a collaborative K-12 educational environment as an Occupational Therapist (OTR). Desired Qualifications:

• Current and active Occupational Therapy license in North Carolina
• Experience with or strong interest in working within K-12 settings
• Familiarity with IEP process, evaluations, and progress reporting in educational environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative work with educators, students, and families
• Ability to travel between school locations as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments for students across multiple school sites
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans targeting students’ functional skills
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure effective delivery of therapy services
• Document and report on student progress, maintaining accurate records in compliance with school and district guidelines
• Attend meetings and participate in IEP teams to advocate for student needs
