This full-time contract opportunity provides the chance to make a lasting difference in young students’ lives at a single, welcoming school site. The position begins mid-to-late September and is guaranteed through at least January, with a strong possibility of extending through the end of the academic year.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Valid California School Psychologist credential
  • Prior experience working with preschool and/or special education populations strongly preferred
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and report-writing abilities
  • Skills in collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Compassionate communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments

What the role entails:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments for students in a special education preschool setting
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to the development of individualized education plans
  • Consulting with teachers and staff to support positive learning and behavioral outcomes
  • Providing direct and indirect services to students to maximize success in the classroom
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with applicable regulations
  • Acting as a resource for families by offering guidance and supports addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs
